Children & Youth Session

Equine Assisted Learning enables youth to make honest non-verbal connections with the most amazing teacher, the horse. Working in small groups these horse related experiences connect deeply to youth, developing leadership skills, communication skills, life skills, and resiliency.

An introduction to the 10-part series offered through schools called “Youth Leadership & Life Skills”.

Adult Session

For adults, riders and non-riders. No horse experience necessary.

These non-mounted exercise will give you a better understanding of these amazing animals. It is also a unique opportunity to experience a leadership and life-skills event that could spark new insights on your journey of self-discovery.

Event Details

Experiential learning, where the horse is the teacher. This event begins with a group briefing to outline objectives, followed by hands-on experiential learning exercises with the horses, and is capped with a de-briefing where observations and experiences in the arena are discussed. During the arena portion, participants advance through a series of non-mounted exercises with obstacle challenges. Participants work with their horse and connect in new ways, as they engage together towards a specific goal.

It is a collaborative challenge, non-competitive, and a unique and powerful experience.
